Cool and useful wearable
Overall – I’ve used it for about one week, in conjunction with my old Fit Bit Flex. I really like the Samsung Gear Fit and I think it’s a solid v1. There are some areas of improvements (mainly form the software perspective) and few things to fix ASAP like the pedometer (see the details below). It works very well with my Galaxy Note 3 (Android version: kit kat). I didn’t experience any issue like device rebooting, phones incompatibility, etc.(please note I’ve updated the firmware of the Gear Fit as It asked, during the setup).
Perfect for what I needed it for
I have every Samsung watch that has been released, this was the last one that I bought. Was I planning on buying it, no, because I really love my gear s and gear 2. However, I am a chef, and am unable to have my cell phone on me all the time and the other watches are to big or bulky for kitchen work.
Refurbished Gear fit charger problems fixed in less than 1 hour
Love this tracker , I got a refurbished one and it took up with everything I needed.
I have had this gearfit for quite awhile. The picture they show on here, makes it look like the display is very small. It really isnt. Its actually a lot bigger. I read up on the gearfit 2 and I honestly think its almost the exact same thing as this. The only problems i have had with this is, dont wear in shower. The water hits it and the next thing you know, your phone is going off because the water hit your find your device button. But you can fix it without getting out of shower of course, just hit red button. Thats a little annoying. And it needs charged a lot, because the display constantly glows on and off on its own. Other than that, i like this better than the gearfit 2. I love how you can skip a song on pandora by hitting your skip button on your gearfit. Thats my favorite thing about this. You can skip also on your songs on your phone too. You can reject calls, see what your texts say and send a quick message by pressing a button. Love it!
Great Connectivity Device, So So Activity Tracking/Health App
Summary: The Gear Fit is a cool connectivity gadget with an immature health tracking app and tie ins. If you’re mainly looking for a health tracking device, I’d suggest sticking with one of the dedicated devices. I previously had an Up24 and will be comparing my experience with the Gear Fit to that in this review. I definitely am not unhappy with my purchase, but plan to use a combination of the Gear Fit and Up24 going forward to cover the gaps.
Gear Fit – Great Beginnings But the Phone Application Needs A Little Polishing
This is my review of the Gear Fit, and is not incentivized by Samsung in any way, shape, or form. I purchased the device myself as I found it an interesting gadget that I wanted to try.

Great Looking and Functional Watch that I bought at about half the price on Amazon.. The watch communicates well with my Galaxy-S6, sending my health and exercise info directly to my phone. It Also allows for different screen backgrounds to be changed on your phone and linked to your watch. Long battery life, about 3-days before charging. via a separate plug. Heart rate monitor, sleep monitor, work great. The Watch Band…although plastic-like, has a metal embossed insert making it look a more stylish. The clear watch lens has held up great. I wear almost daily in the orifice and working outside…no scratches.

I have had my watch for over a month and I really like it. I have customized the screen with my son’s picture. I like the notifications, which you can have your emails, phone calls and text messages and any other notifications attached to it. I have my S health App attached to it also, so it lets me know if I have reached my goal and it is stored on my phone. Now to be honest the pedometer is really not that accurate, because as long as you are swinging your arm it will record steps, I haven’t figured out how to get it synced correctly, but that’s fine, but for those that are looking for more accuracy, this may not be for you. I will stay charged for 3 or more days without having to charge it, but that will change if you get a lot of texts or calls a day. Of course you can’t respond to texts from it, but you can decline calls, but not answer call. I really like it and I get a lot of compliments when people see how sleek it looks on and the customized screen is the bomb too. Didn’t give it 5 stars because of the pedometer, but if you are looking for something to help you stay connected to your phone without always having to look at your phone I say, why not give it a chance.
